Southern Conference Hoops

This week the spotlight is on Blake Barkley of ETSU. The sophomore forward has had an excellent start to conference play for the Buccaneers, and a big reason East Tennessee State is on a three game win streak. In the three games, consistency has been the name of the game for Barkley, scoring 17, 19, and 20 in the three games on what is most impressive, 69% from the field, and going 12-13 from the line. He is also averaging 5 rebounds over those three games. Leading the SoCon so far, the Buccs hope Barkley continues to hit shots at a high consistent rate as they have tougher competition going forward.
